ABOUT J. MARÍN

A family-run ceramic workshop in La Rambla, Córdoba.

Cerámica J. Marín is a family-run workshop dedicated to wheel throwing, hand decoration and the creation of distinctive ceramic pieces.

From La Rambla, a town deeply rooted in the pottery tradition, we approach ceramics as a craft, a form of heritage and a contemporary creative practice.

HISTORY

A story rooted in clay and craftsmanship.

Javier Marín belongs to the second generation of a family dedicated to ceramics. With more than 40 years of experience at the potter’s wheel, he has developed an approach that combines technical knowledge, skilled craftsmanship and respect for the material.

Together with Ana Espejo, the workshop has developed its own distinctive language: colourful, hand-decorated pieces designed for tables, interiors and projects with a strong identity.

CRAFT

Handmade, piece by piece.

We work through manual processes: wheel throwing, shaping, decoration, colour and firing. Each piece passes through expert hands and through stages that cannot be rushed without compromising quality, presence or character.

Handcrafted ceramics naturally feature subtle variations, nuances and differences that are part of their value. We do not seek industrial uniformity, but pieces with life, character and authenticity.

AUTHORSHIP

The J. Marín signature as a guarantee of origin.

Each piece retains the authorship of the workshop. For us, the J. Marín signature is more than just a brand: it is a way of guaranteeing origin, craftsmanship and traceability.

For this reason, we do not operate as a fully white-label manufacturer. We believe visible authorship adds value for shops, brands and projects looking for genuine handcrafted pieces rather than anonymous products.

La Rambla, a land of ceramics.

Our workshop is located in La Rambla, Córdoba, a place with a long pottery tradition. This context is part of the way we understand ceramics: a craft learned over time, passed down through generations and reinterpreted through our own contemporary perspective.

Each piece is born from this connection between place, experience and creativity.

ANA y J

A workshop for distinctive projects.

Our scale allows us to work closely with brands, shops and professionals looking for an alternative to industrial production. We can adapt colours, develop samples, produce small batches and give each piece careful attention in our workshop.
